Tibetan incense originated in the Huabo period and was invented by Tumisanbuza, the founder of Tibetan language and one of the seven virtuous ministers of Tubo, which inadvertently endowed Tibetan incense with strong cultural connotations. Euphorbia is bathed in the cleanest sunshine in the world. It contains the irresistible fragrance of the snow plateau. It silently tells the world about the pious beliefs of Tibetans.
Tibetan incense has long been a part of the Western Regions culture and a treasure of the ancient Buddhist culture, accompanied by the Tibetan people’s life at all times.
Tibetan incense culture is like the Pearl fearing smoke and glory on the snow plateau. Because of its mystery and antiquity, Tibetan incense culture is covered with a layer of veil, which is as thick as Everest but as thin as a wisp of cigarettes. It is precisely because of its nihility and ease of homeland that Tibetan incense culture is more awesome and missed.
In Tibet, the first thing Tibetan people do every day is to light Tibetan incense, which is the beginning of the day when the fragrance is dispersed; to light incense and ritual Buddha, to ask for the blessings of Bodhisattva; to practice incense and to seek the connection between human beings and Buddhas. Tibetan incense gathers the spirit of heaven and earth, condenses the wisdom and fragrance. The Xiangxiang cigarette emitted by Tibetan incense itself is a very poetic painting, as described in the lyrics of the Tibetan singer Sanmuke in his song “Tibetan incense remains”.
